The FARMER is a wise old S.O.B.

Today, I have an INVALUABLE lesson for you

It's not one that many will have the EYES nor the EARS to grasp.

It goes something like this...

Around the country and around the globe, there are FARMERS.

All kinds of farmers

Corn, strawberries, milk & cheese, goats, horses, fruits & vegetables

The FARMER is a wise old S.O.B.

He knows that he needs a few things in his arsenal in order to make
his crops grow and become beautifully bountiful

Such as...

* Sun

* Rain

* Seeds

* Dirt

* Maybe a little fertilizer

And how about....

* Patience

Do you think the 'Old Timer has learned to be PATIENT?

Indeed he has.

For the 'Old Timer knows that he can't plant a SEED today and
expect a CROP tomorrow.

Nor can he plant just ONE seed and expect a harvest.

No, No, No, my friend

The 'Old Timer needs THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of little seeds to be
sprinkled amongst the dirt so they can take root amongst the mighty
forces of Mother Nature.

Then and only then

Can he be sure his CROP will withstand the passage of time.

"Holy Crap, this KID is talking some TRUTH"

"Shut Up Margaret, this KID is on a roll... let him ROAR"

So you might be asking yourself...

"I don't give a HOOT about farming, raising crops or cows, I
just want to make money damn it, show me how to do it".

Ok, I will.

Congratulations

You're now a FARMER yourself.

Tomorrow, you begin by planting SEEDS.

(Because the 'Old Timer knows that without SEEDS there will be NO Crops. And
if there's NO CROPS, then there's NO SALE at the auction barn. And if there's
NO SALE at the auction barn, then there's NO CHECK paid to the 'Old Timer. And
if there's NO CHECK paid to the 'Old Timer, then his wife gets pissed off at
him and screams "Whatta you been doing all this time, pretending to be a FARMER"?)

The equations are simple:

SEEDS = LEADS

LEADS = PROSPECTS

PROSPECTS = ENROLLMENTS

ENROLLMENTS = CHECK

CHECK = A Happy Farmer

Next time, we go into further details over the above 5 equations.

So hang on there young Farmer,

the FUN is just getting started.

TheTrafficHut: How To Make An Effective Blog Post

A good blog post should be between 300-500 words so that
there is enough search engine "content" for their "spiders" which
come to look at your blog.

You should always make sure that you "ping" your blog after every
time you make a new entry or post. You can do this at pingoatic.com
This tells the search engines to come by and check out your new content.

Your blog post should also be use any "hyperlinking" tool provided in
the html symbol area. This helps you get "backlinks" for the keywords
you want to "rank" for in the search engines. And you shoud be
targeting "long tail keywords" like "powerful blog post" vs just "blog"
Why? There is a lot of competition for the keyword "blog" and your chances
of showing up on the 1st page of google is slim to none.

The symbol you are looking for is that blue ball with an inverted or
horizontal 8 below it.

You first hi-lite the phrase or keyword you wish to target. Then click on that
blue ball with the horizontal 8 below it and a new screen will come up.
Then insert the URL of the website you want associated with that keyword
to come up in the seach engines and get the backlink to.

And last but not least, the subject or subjects you choose are important to whether you
will gain a following who constantly come back to your blog or forget it.
You achieve this by giving them valuable and useful information they can use to
make their business successful.

DO NOT something like "My XYZ Company is the best MLM company, It has the greates products
and it pays commissions that are higher than any other company. These types of posts are
very common and do not provide real value to the reader.

An effective blog post must provide valuable information to the reader so as to insure loyalty.
The objective is to become an authority "figure" in your field of endeavor.
You want your Blog "TO BE THE PLACE" where people go to get answers on the
subject you are an authority on.

How to get people to your blog

Here's a secret you should know, people will only come to read your blog and continue to receive your posts IF you provide value. You have to provide content that is either interesting, funny, or well-written, thought-provoking CONTENT.

There's that word again... CONTENT. Your sales page is NOT content. It's a sales page. You can find sales pages everywhere you turn. You don't want a sales page. You want to know ME. You want to know who I am, what makes me special, and why you should stay connected with me.

Once you figure those things out, you MIGHT want to see what opportunity I'm working or maybe you don't. But the truth is, you're not going to buy from me if all you see is a sales page.

Sorry if that seems harsh. But you've been told (were you listening?) that people do business with people they know, like and trust. A sales page isn't enough to make me know those things, but it is enough to make me know that if you don't give me more, I WON'T do business with you.

You've got to build your list. With a list, you build trust. With trust between us, you can show me what you're doing and I just might want to try it too.... because I know, like and trust you.

Read It Out Loud

I don't know what it is about reading sales copy out loud, but it gives you lots and lots of insight into how good (or bad) it really is. All the bumps and rough spots jump out at you.

Even better than reading it out loud yourself is to have someone else read it to you while you take notes on a printout of the copy. One big advantage of this is that he is completely impartial. He won't stress certain words to make the meaning clearer. And if he stumbles over a phrase or sentence or paragraph, you know that's an area you need to rework.

Another thing I do during this editing phase is make sure the copy is geared to the prospect's benefit. I do it by changing some of the "I's," "We's," and "Me's" to "You's" - e.g., changing "We are giving you 6 must-have bonuses" to "You'll get 6 must-have bonuses."

Much stronger that way.

Tracking + Tweaking = Increased Profits

Your Subscriber List Is The Only
Reliable "Traffic Machine" That You Have Full Control Over.

And everyone knows the money's in the list.

The problem is that 99% of marketers don't know how to build their lists quickly.

Everywhere you look online right now, every "expert" has something different
to say about online marketing!

There's Article Marketing, Video Marketing, Social Media, Postcards, Webinars,

Pay Per Click, Phone Broadcasting, etc...

There are so many different and unique ways of creating and sustaining traffic
it's enough to drive an elephant bonkers!

And why we do WANT / NEED this traffic?

Is it to make sales? Yep.

Is it to make money? Absolutely.

Is it so that we won't need a JOB? Of course.

All of the above are important.

But you're over-looking the #1 "Must Have" that should be achieved as
a RESULT of all that TRAFFIC!

You Build / Manage / Control Your Own Email List By Collecting
Your Prospects Name and Email Address!

When you have a list of 10,000 + subscribers, your traffic (and profit)
problems start to be a thing of the past.

You can get hoardes of traffic as easy as by spending 7 minutes typing
up an email and clicking "Send" with an autoresponder or bulk emailer.

10,000 marketing messages can be automatically (and instantly) delivered
into your prospects email inboxes each and every night.

And guess what happens?

If it's a GREAT message, then you'll create a predictable surge in traffic to your offers.

And if your offer is GREAT, then you should create some easy sales.

And here's the REALLY, REALLY Good News...

You don't have to be an internet guru to start building your email list today.

Anyone, regardless of skills, talents or budgets, can begin to collect their prospects
name and email address and have it automaticaly stored inside their autoresponder system.

Or they can even begin by purchasing 150k leads each and every month for only $10.

We use both methods to make constant sales and obtain new prospects.

You can too....!!!!

5 ways for you to win when you buy sell.

There are several ways for you to win...

1: You win when you’re comfortable. This person’s primary goal is to just go through life as comfortably as possible. They don’t want stress. They don’t want to be pushed or challenged. They don’t like conflict. The just want to go through life on cruise control, hanging out with their friends, and having a good time.
Everything they do like buy sell is designed to support their pursuit of comfort.

This is your average, life-long employee who’s more than happy to have a safe, stable, comfortable job.

If you push this person away from that goal, and challenge them or their routine lifestyle, watch out.

2: You win by being liked. This person’s primary goal in life is to be liked by others. They want acceptance from everyone, and will do just about anything to reach that goal. They’d rather be liked, than be right or wrong and that is not something they can purchase.

When you put someone like this in a leadership role, the business will usually fail because they won’t be willing to make hard decisions that would anger someone. They would try to please everyone all the time because their ultimate motivation is to be liked by others.

3: You win by being right. This person is usually an expert in a specific field like a professor, lawyer, or a wife. (Just kidding ladies! ?). People who win by being right, don’t accept criticism and aren’t open to new ideas.

They tend to reach a glass ceiling when it comes to money, their career, and relationships, because they can’t accept their short-comings in order to move past them and achieve personal growth. Arguing with this person never works because they’ll always find a way to prove you wrong, even if it means sabotaging your company in the process.

In order to win, this person must be right.

4: You win by winning. This person is an achiever. Their primary motivation is to win. They are very competitive, and will do whatever it takes to win. They won’t quit, and they’ll constantly push themselves to gain the edge they need. And they know there is no rebate.

This category describes all successful entrepreneurs and athletes. Winning is their reward, and on the dark side, some of them will go too far and compromise their integrity in order to do so. Key Lay of Enron is a great example.

This type of person doesn’t care if others don’t like them, and they welcome discomfort because it provides them with new opportunities to win.

5: You win by losing. This person wins by being a victim. They want sympathy from others or their spouse. Just when things start to get better, they will sabotage themselves, and say, “I knew it wouldn’t work”, giving them their victory once again.

There lives are always filled with problems because they don’t win unless they lose, so they create circumstances and excuses that help them fulfill that destiny like, “Your book won’t teach me anything new. I don’t have the money. This is just another scam. I’ll give it a try…”

Are you taking a long hard look at your life right now?

There are people who are not wealthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are not healthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are stuck in the same job without a promotion for 10 years because they want to be liked. There are people who are addicted to struggle because they win by losing.

And most likely, you see a little of yourself in each of these categories.
But what’s important to remember, is that winning is a continuous process that is brought to an end once you’ve won, which is an event.

As soon as you’ve “won”, the process starts all over again.

This is why you tend to feel lost or unfulfilled after you achieve a goal.

I don’t know where you are at this moment in your life, but I do know this… Entrepreneurs win by winning, and they’ll do whatever it takes to fulfill that subconscious desire.

If your subconscious’ desire is to REALLY “win” in networking or your home business right now, then you should already have http://www.budurl.com/TheTrafficHut on your desktop because it is what the heavy hitters use to get their sites noticed, over and over.

If you don’t, then you need to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why? Do you really want to “win” in this industry, or are you after something else…?

If you REALLY want to “win” in this industry, but have recognized that you’re not where you need to be today, the choice is yours.

You are not a victim or a prisoner of your subconscious. You can control it. You can train it to achieve new goals.

You have complete power over every aspect of your life and you can reinvent yourself, and the way you win at any time, but it’s a process that will require complete dedication

One of the biggest mistakes affiliates make....

The biggest mistake many affiliates make is not setting up a list. They will often direct traffic that they generated to their affiliate links, instead of a list. When this occurs, they may not know it, but they are wagering that their visitor will purchase on first contact. Unfortunately for the affiliate marketer, this is usually not the case. Visitors many times need to be warmed up to the product with several visits and more information before they decide they may wish to buy from a business or person (you). This is where building a list become effective.

When you build a list, you, the affiliate, can remedy this problem. In addition, you can keep traffic and then proceed to warm it up, and then point it to different purchases down the line. What this means is that it is not a one-shot deal. You can make the effort to sell the same person other products over the course of time and you use you existing traffic instead of going out and finding new prospects.

Now, to pull this off with success, you the affiliate in question must purchase the required tools. We personally suggest using the autoresponder service listed at the bottom. It is relatively inexpensive ($18/mo.) and comes with a large range of services, including macros and spam checkers and macros. I believe it is also whitelisted by many email clients and boasts a near 100% delivery rate. This autoreponder service will not only manage your list, but it will also help you grow it. It comes with many free tools that enable you to create hover-ins, web forms and pop-ups, all of which can be employed to maximize your opt-in rate.

Besides buying the autoresponder service, you should also setup your own site if you do not already own one. I often use Yola to create one in minutes, give it a try. The first five you set up don't cost a thing! Of course if you already have a related site, you can simply add your opt-in form to a page on your existing site. This applies to blogs too.

After you have your site and your autoresponder setup, you only have two steps remaining: the first is creating a course or several articles that are related to the affiliate products you will sell; and the second is creating an opt-in form for you site or blog.

The first part is rather easy. Begin by figuring out what your topic will be and then outline it over a period of five to seven days. Write everything as if you are talking to a person, you don't want it to look like a formal article.

If you don't want to write the articles yourself, hire a ghostwriter at elance for $5-15 per issue, depending on the size.

After you have created your autoresponder articles, load it into your autoresponder with advertisements in the text for the affiliate product you are going to sell, and then create an opt-in box for your list.

The opt-in box is very important. Most marketers often neglect this which is strange since they have spent the time to create a good course, inserted affiliate links that don't look too obvious and decided on the delivery dates on all of the emails.

How to make your opt-in page convert...

First, remember that the main purpose of an opt-in page is simply to collect opt-in email addresses and/or phone numbers. You don't want Google Adsense ads all over them and you definitely will not include a navigational menu that readers can use to browse your site. Why? Because they detract from your main purpose which is to get visitors to opt-in to your list.

I personally suggest what is called a “squeeze page” which will “squeeze” new visitors for their email addresses and names. Here's a few things an effective squeeze page should include:

1. A nice graphic header. Make sure it's not a blurry header created from using using terrible templates. I suggest you visit BZ9 (see below)

2. A grabbing headline. Before you request someone to opt-in to your list, you must reach out and GET their attention with a red headline in large font. Make sure your headline is clear and very COMPELLING. No fluff, keep it simple.

3. Use compact text that is two paragraphs at most. All you want to do is basically tell them “Look! Here's a really great reason to opt in to my list. Did I mention it is free? Please opt in now”. Consider also giving them a free report for opting into your list, which can be downloaded as soon as they opt-in. Nothing like a good incentive that will push them to join.

4. Your call to action. Tell them to stop kicking the tires and join now. Tell them their future hangs on it.

5. Your signature. It will immediately provide you with credibility. People want to see one, so write yours down, scan it; and add it to your squeeze page or use the below tool.

6. A no spam clause. Let them know that you will not spam them or sell their information. Telling them that will make them far more likely to opt-in.

Once you have your opt-in form set, the only thing left is to drive traffic sources to your opt-in list (see resource box) collect their email addresses – and then wait for the money to roll in.

3 Things To Avoid With Online Affiliate Marketing

#1 Avoid Spammy Mediums Like the Plague They Are

As an affiliate marketer, your reputation is very important. Never develop a reputation as someone who is a spammer or a really desperate individual, otherwise people aren't going to follow your advice. Let's say you recommend a product to people – either through a free ebook, your list, or anything like that – and they perceive you as somewhat of a desperate person who spams, more than likely, they will not pay attention to what you say.

Why would anybody take your advice on purchasing some product like an ebook, if you get your traffic through spam? Clearly you haven't been successful with what you've read in the book, so why should they heed your advice?

With that said, here's a list of some important sources to FORGET:

1. FFAs or "free for alls." FFAs are just forums or email lists that permit needy people to throw garbage at each other's wall to see if any of it sticks. Do we really want to accept 100 messages a day from other online affiliate marketers? Will you buy any of their products? Me thinks not!

And guess what? They don't want to buy your stuff either. They all want to sell items. The best advice I can give you is to avoid these email lists and forums. The only people using them are spammers who are in dire straights to sell you something. Do you think actual buyers want to wade into these trash heaps (FFAs) in order to buy something when they can just do a Google search?

2. Safelists. They are fine if you enjoy getting hit with spammy garbage everyday. They are just a list of those who agreed to join a list, so they could blast out their offers. All those on the list want to send out their offers, but they don't want to really get offers.

As an affiliate markter, you mindset must be to find places where people want to purchase stuff – not where they want to sell products. What good is a marketplace if they are all sellers? It is pretty useless – especially considering that all of them have failed virtually every other place they have tried.

Not only are these a waste of time, but they could damage your credibility. Don't do it. Keep away from spammy lists of all types.

#2 Adopt the “Successful Affiliate's Mindset”

Most people who become successful in all areas of life tend to mention mindset the most. For the most part, this is the vital bit of information that people who haven't yet experienced any success want to hear about the least. They want meat and potatoes information, just the facts and exact procedures, sir. They don't want this mindset stuff that appears more self-glorifying than helpful.

They don't realize that this information is very important. If you wish to make a lot of money as someone who is self-employed, you most definitely cannot do so without first taking full responsibility for your success.

Why? Because no other individual is responsible for your success (or lack of) other than you. That's right: the person you bought that last ebook from is not responsible for your success or failure. If you return to them after 30 days and say “Hey, you! This doesn't work, I'm not a millionaire yet, as you said I would...” he'll gladly refund your money and be on his way. What they won't do is make you money. That part rests entirely with you.

Now, you ask "how can I do it?" You must develope the right mindset – by realizing that no matter what occurs, you are 100% responsible. You no longer have a boss watching you. You can't say “I tried really hard; therefore, I still should get paid.” Nope, it doesn't work that way, you only receive pay as an affiliate marketer after you have made sales.

You MUST adopt that mindset and avoid self-pity and the temptation to blame other people for your failure, no matter how appealing that is.

#3 Create Your Own Website (one good site is Yola, and it only takes minutes)

The majority of online affiliate marketers begin by referring all of their PAYING clients to affiliate links, instead of their own site. This might assist in short term commissions, but could reduce future profit opportunities.

If you have someone who has enough money burning a hole in their pocket to buy, then try to get them on one of your email lists. Send him to YOUR own website; and get him to optin for a course you've created or some other no cost product. Only once he's on your email list should you begin marketing affiliate products to them.

If you don't yet have a list, you can create one with the tool at the following URL: http://budurl.com/FastAutoResponder You can sign up for their trial.

When you send BUYING customers to your affiliate link, that product owner benefits more than you do. If you send them to a website that is yours, you will not only get the sale from that one interaction, but you also get the chance to make future offers to them. Most product owners will tell you that, but I want YOU to gain the most out of http://www.CompleteGreenProfits.com

You now know the 3 most VITAL things to avoid online affiliate marketing. Follow them and you will do well. Ignore them and they will kill every opportunity you encounter.

Little Ticket To Wealth Business Review

The Little Ticket to Wealth program is based around an inaugurate system that is enlightened by the company for you. Bountiful persons are looking online for a way to make extra income, but without quality phone skills and some tact, this could serve to complicate things for some individuals. For those who have been marketing for some time, this could produce a decent and a low cost way to create a list for any businesses. Of course, for those new to Internet marketing there will be a slight learning curve to all of this and you should use the training that comes with this program.

Little Ticket to Wealth is a lead generating and money making opportunity. With a low cost start up and a lead generating system built in, could this be a convenient system over you? And how does this assistance plan work?

Overall, Little Ticket to Wealth seems to create a good scheme to increase leads by many who are new to working online. There is work involved, being you will continually email or mail your leads. With this type of plan one would need to find a an easy and cheap emailer which we have done, to truly become and achived "work at home" status. With a strong work ethic and time, one could excel in any online or offline business since the leads provided give the email addresses and physical addresses.

Little Ticket is a reverse two up increasing system. Basically with this compensation plan the first two sales you make, 50% of the commission is passed up to your sponsor, but once you have qualified, you will be eligible for the full compensation of your sales. There are no limits to how much you can make with Little Ticket To Wealth.

Ex-restaurant worker Tim Berger is the creator of Little Ticket to Wealth and CEO. The program is built around lead generation and network marketing online. The cost to start with this opportunity is only the low cost of $150 dollars plus $10 a month after that which entrusts you with 150,000 leads each and every month. These leads may be used for the Little Ticket business opportunity or any other program at your discretion. What this could mean to you, the internet marketer, is a simple and cost affective method of getting more qualified leads and increasing your own list of contacts for any business you are involved in.

Choosing Power Keywords With Article Marketing

We highly recommended that you employ relevant keywords
for each article.

These keywords are converted in tags, and the
Tags are then indexed by Google as well as your
article title and the content of your articles.

So your article can be found on Google by its title/content
and now it can also be located by your tags.

We suggest you add as many relevant keywords as possible for
each article that you are going to write and distribute over
the web to drive more traffic to your sites.

Not too long and Not too short...article titles....

That's right. An excellent article title is the right length--not too long and not too short.

So, how short is too short? I'd say one word. Always make sure your title is at least two words long. You want to have a title that lets the reader know exactly what your article is concerned with. So, you might have to use more than 2 words.

Now you are probably wondering how long is too long? Length requirements are not the same for all publishers, so we've found a good rule of thumb is not to above 100 characters with your title for the best response.

New Approach to Email Marketing

There’s a change going through the marketing world where customer service is “the new marketing“.

If you take care of your clients, they like you. When they like you, they remain with you.

This new approach is to locate those who make more sense. Begin relationships with them before you try to sell them something. Learn what you can about them, then make the your offer – if it is something they can use. You want to be sure your products are something your audience wants. Then, prepare them for it.

You must build a two-way, trusting relationship with your readers. To obtain their purchases, you need their word-of-mouth support and you must listen to their thoughts/ideas and their goodwill.

If you cannot overcome their resistance, you'll never make the sale. That's like trying to kiss a woman before you even take her on a date.

Plug Into Green Profits Goes Worldwide

Did you know that the Plug Into Green Profits business doesn't
have borders or restrictions on where you can be marketing?

Here's why that means unlimited potentiol for you...

http://www.CompleteGreenProfits.com

By mid-2008, the worldwide number of Internet users had grown to
more than 1.46 BILLION people, with the total amount spent online
estimated to grow to $263 billion by 2010 from just $170 billion
last year!?

And while the U.S leads the pack as of July '08 for the percentage
of its population online (73.6%), the United States constitutes
only 17% (and shrinking) of Web surfers worldwide.

Where the major growth is occurring is in the world's most populous
countries, such as China, India, Brazil, Russia and Indonesia. In
fact, the Asian continent ranks first worldwide for the number of
Internet users—578 MILLION and growing. And they're just getting
started!

Then there's Africa and the Middle East that since 2000 have witnessed
what can only be described as a phenomenal increase of online users:
a cumulative, eight-year 1,031% and 1,177% growth rate, respectively!

Why is all this important? Because in joining Plug Into Green Profits,
you've just joined the most global-minded business there is. Put
another way, you're now positioned to profit from the largest market
EVER.

EVER!

The fact is, Plug Into Green Profits was built, from the ground up,
to go everywhere and anywhere the Internet goes. And "borderless"
is bountiful.

Lots of businesses allow you to market in your own country and perhaps
a few others countries, but only Plug Into Green Profits with its
associated affiliate opportunities and products (including the GWO
EnviroTabs) puts you in over 200 countries and gives you instant
access to a marketplace of BILLIONS of consumers.

But Plug Into Green Profits gives you much more than just access.
Plug Into Green Profits is actually working and generating income
for people all over the world.

http://www.CompleteGreenProfits.com

Check out our Success Profiles in the members area. Every day,
hundreds of people from countries scattered across the globe become
Plug Into Green Profits affiliates!

In huge populous countries like India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia,
and China, Plug Into Green Profits is exploding with growth! And yet
we've only begun to scratch the surface! And what a MASSIVE opportunity
this is for you.

Think about the spectacular economic growth occurring in India and

Winners vs Losers

What's the big difference between them?

Answer: Winners spend time THINKING!

Yep, you read that right. It's that simple.

Most Internet marketers make a very big error. They wrongly assume that "knowing more" is more better than "thinking better."

So they spend a large amount of their time learning more instead of trying to think more.

Which do you do? Are you spending more time thinking or learning?

I'd hazzad a guess that you have spent most of your time grasping many facts pertaining to online marketing and enlarging

your home business.

I'm not say that is wrong, but unless you did some laser thinking first, chances are high that you've discovered many things

that aren't really needed for expanding your business immediately.

This is the difference between "just-in-time" learning and what is called "just-in-case" learning.

Right now, I want you to consider your business for 40 minutes -- and I guarantee you... it will require effort.

Here is the approach to take:

1. Spend 10 minutes finding all the barriers presently blocking your business goals. What is one that will payoff the biggest

if you get rid of it?

2. Then take 10 minutes trying to discover the main reason for that obstacle. You can accomplish that by thinking about the

roadblock and asking yourself, "Why do I have this roadblock?" When you get an answer to that problem, ask yourself WHY.

Wash, rinse and repeat this method until you've gotten down to the main reason for the roadblock.

3. Next, use 10 minutes for coming up with as many solutions as you can for handling the root cause of the problem. Choose

the alternative you believe is the best solution.

4. Now, during the last ten minutes, consider all the actions you'd need to take to implement the solution you just came up

with.

Then... get to work on it!

In other words, do something immediately.

You want minimize the time from the formation of your plan to its end.

Winners do this. They first spend time going through new approaches to their roadblocks. And when a new approach works, they

not only get an immediate results, they also have new ideas they can use (and often sell) repeatly.

Do this today, then let us know how it worked for you.

Three Easy Steps To Make More Sales

1. Begin talking about what your prospect will get if they do what you want them to do. Simply put, let them know what's in it for them? Don't tell your story before you tell them what's in it for them. Talk about them first. Do this in all of your selling communications first.

2. Quit talking about what your product does. You can talk about what it does for them, not what it does techically. What it does for them is very important, what it does, is irrelevant.

3. Let them know specifically what to do next. Tell them. You cannot be vague about what they are to do next.

How can you integrate these three simple steps into your marketing today?

* Review some top websites and see how they do it. See how they start out their sales letters. What words and phrases do they use? What do they accomplish with first few words of their paragraphs?

A great "back end" product to sell is YOU! As you become more of an established "expert" in your niche your time and advice become invaluable. Your most valuable product is YOU and YOUR TIME.

* Review your advertising. Make sure it comes from the angle of telling the prospect what's in it for them. If it doesn't, be sure to change it.

* Change what needs to be changed. Make sure you start with whats in it for you, then here's what I'm offiat I want you to do.

* Track the difference to see what is working

Eliminate Doubt

When the time comes to actually fork over their name and email address, a lot of website visitors freeze.

In that moment, they are almost ready to subscribe to your list but need just a bit more persuasion.

What to do? Sweeten the deal.

Incentives Put The Icing On the Cake

An incentive motivates someone who is on the fence about offering up their contact information, and solidifies the fact that they are truly interested in your offer when they press the submit button.

Incentives are different from your offer. Combined with your offer, incentives compel subscribers to sign up regardless of any initial hesitation.

There are several things you can do with your incentive:

Provide a free ebook or report in addition to your offer
Hold a drawing for a grand prize
Have an ongoing promotion (like free dessert on your birthday each year)
Offer a free consultation
Provide coupons that offer a percentage off of your products

Don’t set goals

The conventional wisdom says that extensive career and business planning are crucial, but the richest man in town is more likely to believe that planning inhibits success. Most of these rich men and women don’t plot a course that is more detailed than "get up each morning and do better than the day before."

What’s wrong with goals and plans? Too often, those who set them feel obliged to stick with them even when changing circumstances render the plans obsolete. Being ready to adapt to changing circumstances is a better policy.

Example: Jim Oelschlager, the richest man in Akron and founder of the investment company Oak Associates, Ltd., says that the only business plan he ever had was "answer the phone if it rang."

One day, a manager at his employer at the time, Firestone, asked him to manage its pension plan. This experience allowed him to create a series of successful mutual funds later on.

Despite the challenge of having multiple sclerosis, Oelschlager was able to take advantage of the best opportunities that came his way even when they were not what he expected. Over the years, Oak Associates has profitably expanded -- and Oelschlager also started CyGem, an information technology company, and Oak Air airline charters. Oelschlager believes that if he had moved his company in the direction he wanted to go rather than the direction that client feedback led him, "we would have failed miserably."
