Prosper Mentally and Physically

Any business enterprise requires extra motivation,
commitment, and time from you. In most cases the person
running the business is doing so alone or with very limited
help. It is because of this that it is imperative for you to
have a BURNING desire to succeed.

In order for your business to prosper, you must prosper both
physically and mentally. You are not able to run your
business if you are physically sick and you can't give your
business all that it needs if you are mentally negative.

Physical fitness begets mental toughness. Similarly, you can
reinforce a "nothing will stop me" mindset by challenging
yourself in your athletic pursuits or physical fitness
routine. (I'm heading into the basement to workout when
I am done with this and then a brisk walk down to Lake
Michigan and around the Illinois Beach Park Camp Grounds).

A positive mindset is essential to the success of any business.

A positive mindset is crucial because of the Law of
Attraction. In simple terms, you tend to get what you expect
to get.

Before you can create a successful business, you
have to form a clear vision of what you want your business
to become. If you constantly think and hope for a mediocre
business then you are likely to get that or less.

OR even worse...
What if you don't think you can't do it?  Will you?

Henry Ford said it best:
"If you think you can or you think you can't...
                        ...your right!"

Aim as high as you possibly can so that even if you fall
short of your vision, your chances of success are still
good. Thinking positively excites your emotions and this
helps to stimulate your creative spirit.

Your brain responds to stimuli. Expose yourself to positive
stimuli and avoid the negative.(This is scary, but try shutting
off the TV for ONE DAY...then try two. It's harder than you think.)

You will eventually begin to see more things as possible. Read the
success stories of others who came before you. The more you absorb
the positive mindset of successful men and women, the more you see
yourself on the same path of success.

Those who expect negative things to happen, often experience
negative things and fail as a result. An entrepreneur who has a
negative mindset is likely to give up on his business the moment
that an obstacle presents itself because it will be seen as impossible
 to surpass.(and not worth it!)

A home-based entrepreneur who has a positive mindset is
likely to encounter success. Having a positive mindset does
not mean that your path will be free of obstacles, but
someone with a positive mindset will find a way to get
around them.

While it is not possible to completely expel all negative
thoughts and influences from your life, it is possible to
limit them.

How does a home-based entrepreneur stay positive; especially
when you don't have a strong support system?

Begin by steering clear of people who don't support your
business and attempt to demean you by making negative
comments. You must also remain positive so that when you are
met with opposition you are able to dismiss it.

If you begin second guessing your abilities as a business
owner because you let what others say affect you, then you
are not likely to succeed. Remember that the prosperity of
your home-based enterprise is dependent on you. This is why
it is essential for you to stay positive in all situations.

There are bumps and setbacks in everyone's career. It is not
so much the number of obstacles that you encounter that will
determine the success of your business; it is your ability
to get past these unfortunate events that determines how
lucrative your business will become.

In order to succeed, you have to believe that nothing can
stop you from obtaining your goals.

You don't always get what you want, but you often get what
you expect.

As a home-based entrepreneur you should constantly expect
wealth, prosperity, and overall success.

Even if success doesn't come to you in the manner in which
you expect, your positive attitude can help you to put more
faith in your business and new opportunities will present
themselves.

A positive mindset does not guarantee success by itself, but
it will help you a great deal. Plan carefully, be patient,
and remain positive through everything; and you will become
a success.

We hope this helps.

The power of tragedy

Tragedy is that is more
compelling a story line than anything
else.

Think back to all the most powerful
stories throughout history.

Here's where this matters to
you and I.

Currently, your story might be something
of a tragedy, things aren't going well,
you're hitting a brick wall, the school
of hard knocks is one you know well.

Well, guess what? It happens to us all
at some point, and once you rise above
it like the Phoenix from the flame
you'll find . . .

In sharing the truth of your own tragedy
with those who come after will be one
of your most powerful and real assets
to attract good real people to your
cause.

Never be ashamed, never be afraid to
share the truth, the good, the bad and
the ugly, and you'll find your worst
times to be one of the most powerful
forces you can and will use to propel
yourself to the good ones.

Why the weekends are so important...

There's something I like to do on weekends, and I wanted to tell you about it, because I think it'll make a difference for you. I think it's important to take at least an hour or so, and dedicate it to learning more about Internet marketing. Most of us don't take the time to improve ourselves, and so we get stuck in a rut where our income isn't really going up because we're not taking action. I'd like to help you move past that today, so here's a couple of quick action steps for you. 1. Take the time to read at least one of those courses you purchased over the last couple of months, 2. Login and watch the free Web 3.0 internet marketing
training videos you signed up for, but never watched over
at theTRAFFICplan 3. Take a step outside your normal comfort zone and implement something you never tried before This weekend I reread course material, to check my notes and to see which points I didnt implement yet and rewatched videos. It's important to have fun today, but it's just as important to spend a little time becoming a smarter marketer so you can start earning more cash. Your Success

Exhausted? How to Get Your Willpower Back...

If a hard day at work leaves you feeling unable to exercise, you can at least rest easy knowing there's a scientific explanation.

Using your willpower for one task depletes willpower for entirely different task, a new study finds. But there are strategies for getting it back, researchers say.

"Cognitive tasks, as well as emotional tasks such as regulating your emotions, can deplete your self-regulatory capacity to exercise," said study leader Kathleen Martin Ginis, associate professor of kinesiologyat McMaster University.

The study used a Stroop test to deplete the self-regulatory capacity of volunteers in the study. The test consists of words associated with colors but printed in a different color. For example, the word "red" is printed in blue ink.) Subjects were asked to say the color on the screen, trying to resist the temptation to blurt out the printed word instead of the color itself.

"After we used this cognitive task to deplete participants' self-regulatory capacity, they didn't exercise as hard as participants who had not performed the task," Martin Ginis said.

The more people "dogged it" after the cognitive task, the more likely they were to skip their exercise sessions over the next 8 weeks. "You only have so much willpower," she said.

A similar conclusion was reached by a 2003 study in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research. After completing tasks that required self-control, study subjects had less physical stamina and impulse control and increased difficulty with problem-solving activities. In particular, resisting temptation consumed an important resource that was then less available to help the person persist in the face of failure on subsequent tests.

But you can work on your willpower. "Willpower is like a muscle: it needs to be challenged to build itself," she said.

"There are strategies to help people rejuvenate after their self-regulation is depleted," she said. "Listening to music can help; and we also found that if you make specific plans to exercise - in other words, making a commitment to go for a walk at 7 p.m. every evening - then that had a high rate of success."

By constantly challenging yourself to resist a piece of chocolate cake, or to force yourself to study an extra half-hour each night, then you can actually increase your self-regulatory capacity, the researcher said.

Sleep may also be important. "Most forms of self-regulation failure escalate over the course of the day, becoming more likely and more frequent the longer the person has been deprived of sleep," said Florida State University researcher Roy F. Baumeister, who led the 2003 study.

The new study, detailed Thursday in the journal Psychology and Health, was funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
